Mass Media, Criminal Violence, and Territorial Stigma in Venezuela

Abstract
Through category territorial stigma the possible convergence in Venezuela media when reporting on criminal violence and public policies on citizen security was studied. To do this, Correo del Orinoco (public) and El Universal (private) newspapers were considered because they have apparently antagonistic editorial lines on this issue.
