La colegiatura de la abogacÃa y la violencia institucional

El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo mostrar que existen tres teorÃas polÃticas que pueden utilizarse para justificar la colegiatura profesional de los abogados: el corporativismo, el pluralismo y el republicanismo. La teorÃa polÃtica que se adopte determinará el modo de concebir las funciones que el colegio de abogados ejerce en relación con el Estado. El trabajo especÃficamente se concentra en mostrar que la colegiatura funciona como un lÃmite frente a la violencia institucional, cuando el paradigma adoptado es uno de tipo republicano.
